AdGuard iOS Instructions Step-by-Step Install AdGuard Do not open AdGuard; just install it, for this step. You may open AdGuard, when you get to the next callout, like this one. Download AdGuard for iOS here. Enable Safari Extensions Open the iOS Settings app. Navigate to: Apps > Safari > Extensions. Allow every AdGuard extension in the list. Activate AdGuard License Now you may open AdGuard Tap next in the AdGuard welcome screens until you get to the main app home screen. Tap settings in the bottom right (cog wheel icon). Navigate to License > Log in. Select Use AdGuard account. Enter the below credentials: Username & password: User: CONTACT J Pass: CONTACT J Configure AdGuard Lists Note: This is the only time you will have to configure this. Navigate to protection on the bottom (shield with check icon). Tap Safari protection (not the toggle). Tap Filters Enable: Ad blocking Privacy Social Widgets Annoyances Security Custom Tap Ad blocking. Enable all toggles. Go back. Tap Privacy. Enable all toggles except Block Outsider Intrusion into LAN. You may choose to enable or disable Fanboy's Anti-Facebook List. This list blocks most of Facebook's tracking, however, it may break some Facebook apps and games. Use at your own discression and risk. Go back. Tap Social Widgets. Enable all toggles. Go back. Tap Annoyances. Enable all toggles. Go back. Tap Security. Enable all toggles. Go back. Go back to Protection. Enable Advanced protection. Enable AdGuard VPN Note: This is the only time you will have to configure this. Navigate to protection on the bottom (shield with check icon). Enable DNS Protection It will prompt you to add a VPN Profile. Tap Allow. Update AdGuard Lists This is the only time you will have to do this, all other times are automatic. Navigate to the home screen in AdGuard (house icon on bottom). Tap the refresh icon in the top right. You are now finished setting up AdGuard. Extra Notes If there is a site that shows an ad or part of its UI that is not being caught by AdGuard, in Safari, tap the icon to the left of the URL in the address bar (should look like a puzzle piece or a rectangular outline with two lines beneath it), then tap Hide Distracting Items to hide anything on the page that is annoying you. DO NOT use the Turn Off Content Blockers option. If you have any issues with websites not loading, while a rare occurrence, you can simply open AdGuard, then disable AdGuard on the home screen. You can then do whatever you need to do on the problematic site, then re-enable AdGuard. DO NOT use the Turn Off Content Blockers option in Safari.
